Can someone explain to me how beta software can be "expired shareware"?
The latest version of Virtual Desktops still had many issues, not the least of which you couldn't SAVE any of the configuration options, so why is it that I need to pay for this buggy software? It is especially troubling since I downloaded it from my ODNT subscription. If it were like some of the other Stardock apps that have a "shareware" and a "paid version", then I wouldn't even be making this post. However, if you think that I am going to pay for buggy beta versions which I feel should be part of my OD subscription, I would suggest you think again.
Since there is no direct forum for the Virtual Desktop plugin, I am posting this in the seldome read Object Bar forum. If after 1 week there is no response, I will post elsewhere.
Is this how the "beefed up support" is to be paid for? By nickel and diming those who have supported Stardock for years?
Sorry for the rant - I just became very frustrated today when my PC crashed while trying to change to another virtual desktop. This was during a production downtime and I needed the space to view all the necessary server info. Not the best time to encounter a glitch.
