Tips and Tricks to get your customizations working the way you want. WB OB DX
Hey all,

I just got a new PC at work running WinXP (the government is always one step behind), but I have a number of apps where skinning the scrollbars is problematic. The "Per Application - Feature Disabling" feature worked just fine on Win2000 (WB4), but there seems to be a problem with WB5 and the "Feature Disabling" feature. Am I just missing something, or is this a known issue?

Here is my System Info:

Microsoft Windows XP:
Build 2600.xpsp_sp2_gdr.070227-2254

WindowBlinds version : WindowBlinds 5 (5.5 (build 94 x86))

WindowBlinds is installed correctly on this PC

WindowBlinds appears to be activated on this PC

Your machine supports per pixel borders on WindowBlinds skins.

(Plug and Play Monitor) 1 is attached to Intel(R) Q965/Q963 Express Chipset Family

Wblind.dll 2007/03/13 10:50:20
Wbsrv.dll 2007/03/13 10:57:52
Wbconfig.exe 2007/03/13 10:16:17
Wbload.exe 2006/03/13 17:54:14
Wbhelp.dll 2004/09/18 16:37:07
Wbui.dll 2005/12/06 21:29:06
Tray.dll 2006/04/28 18:26:49

I could ignore the app, but I just need to turn off the scrollbars. Can someone please let me know if I'm going crazy or if the "Feature Disabling" is just not supported on WB5? Thanks!

Einy

Baby steps; baby steps.    Still some things known to be broken in 5.50 that remain so - Favorites menu skinning being the biggest one (here, on XP).

Daiwa: There is nothing wrong with favorites menu skinning as far as I am aware.

What problems are you having with it?

Sorry about the misnomer, Neil. It's Menus/Toolbar like.

See my other post (5.51.025 update issues on XP) for pics.
